Troy B. Bass
Dunn - June 9 - Troy B. Bass, 63, of Route 1, Dunn, died at his home last night. Funeral will be held Wednesday at 3 p.m. at Shady Grove Church. Services will be conducted by Reverend Minot Godwin. Burial will be in the Bass family cemetery. The body will lie in the church for one hour prior to the service. A native of Sampson County, Bass was a farmer. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Clyda Bass; two sons, Ruben of Route 1, Dunn, and Alver of Route 3, Dunn; two daughters, Mrs. William Hill of Route 1, Dunn, and Mrs. Ballard Bass of Route 3, Clinton; seven grandchildren; one brother, Jonah Bass of Route 5, Dunn; and two sisters; Mrs. N.T. Barefoot of Route 3, Dunn and Mrs. Lonia Thornton of Benson.
