Bass is survived by his wife; three daughters, Mrs. Hazel Lay, Mrs. Dorothy Plumlee and Clota Hropoff, all of Salinas, Calif., two brothers, Jim Bass of Dallas and John Bass of Canton; two sisters, Mrs. M.H. Wolters and Mrs. J.F. Norman, both of Canton, and two grandchildren.
