Bass Sr., 84, was Wednesday in the Community Center at the Sans Souci West Mobile Home Park. Burial will be at Greenacres Memorial Park in Ferndale, Wash. Ball and Dodd Funeral Home-South is in charge of arrangements. Born in Spokane, Mr. Bass died Saturday. He worked as an insurance agent for Metropolitan Life Insurance and retired in 1974. Mr. Bass returned to Spokane 25 years ago. He was a member of the Appaloosa Horse Club and the 1,000 Trails RV Club. Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Barbara; two sons, Howard Bass Jr. of Springdale, Wash., and Kenneth Bass of Moscow, Idaho; a daughter, Virginia Strachila of Acme, Wash.; 10 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. 1950 Federal Census of Bellingham, Whatcom County, Washington (13 Apr 1950) Howard J.
