Betty Mae Bass (nee Jones)
Betty Mae Bass (nee Jones), age 81 passed away on January 11,2022. She was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on November 18, 1940 to the late Eugene and the late Irene Jones. On January 13, 1962, she married John Bass Jr, he preceded her in death on November 1, 2017. She was a beloved Mother to John Bass, Mark Bass, and Holly Penewit and a cherished Grandmother to Katie Bass and Emma Penewit. She left behind brother Tom Jones. Her other siblings Patty, Billy, and Bobby proceed her in death. She also had many cherished nieces and nephews. Betty was a devoted mother and grandmother, but in her free time she enjoyed playing Bingo and cards with family and friends, bowling, camping, and watching her children and grandchildren's sporting events. Please join us in remembering this amazing woman on Monday, January 24,2022. The visitation will be 12:30-1:30 followed by the funeral from 1:30-2:00 at Paul R. Young Funeral home 7345 Hamilton Ave. Mt Healthy, Ohio 45231. The burial at Landmark Memorial Garden will follow the funeral services. Flowers are welcomed and can be sent to the funeral home.
