Okeechobee - Leila Marie Bryce Bass died August 8, 2018. She was born June 5, 1941 in Los Angeles, California. A resident of Okeechobee for 50 years, she was a Registered Nurse at Raulerson Hospital for 20 years. She was an advocate for people and was always willing to help anyone she could. She was passionate about animals and enjoyed gardening. Mrs. Bass was preceded in death by her husband, Ted Bass; and her son, Kirby Bass. She is survived by her daughter, Tina Bray, of Alameda, California; sister, Patricia Beymer, of Estes Park, Colorado; and two granddaughters, Ashley Bray, of Alameda, California, and Victoria Bray, of Naples, Florida. No services will be held at this time.
