Miss Hays is Bride of Don A. Bass (Includes picture)

GRAND PRAIRIE, Texas ? Mr. and Mrs. Don Alvin Bass will make their home in Palestine following a wedding trip to San Antonio.
They were married Friday evening at the Church of Christ in Grand Prairie, and Norman Gipson officiated.
The bride is the former Miss Marie Janette Hayes, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Hayes, Grand Prairie. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Clyde E. Bass, Grapevine.
Miss Pat Edward gave the nuptial music.
Givin in marriage by her father, the bride wore a gown of white Chantilly lace and nylon net over satin, designed with a fitted lace bodice, long peatl-oint sleeves and a bouffant waltz-length skirt of new with an overlay of lace.
The bride?s fingertip veil of silk illusion fell from a crown of lace trimmed in pearls. Her white Bible was topped with a white orchid and lilies of the valley.
Miss Alice Bowerman of Arlington was maid of honor and A.J. Harper of Grapevine was best man. Marvin J. Hayes of Grand Prairie and Leslie Earl bass of Grapvine were ushers.
Miss Novie Elaine Dunham of Fort Worth and Joe Dean Ernest of Grand Prairie lighted the candles.
The home of the bride?s parents was the scene of the reception, and in the house party were Mrs. Rose Mary Taylor, Miss Hilda Gambill and Miss Bobbie Lynn Goff.
