Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. today at the Osborn chapel for Henry W. Bass of 2236 Midway street, who died suddenly at his home about 12:30 p.m. yesterday.
The Rev. Charles Kircus of the Rocky Mount Baptist church will official. Additional services will be held at 11:30 a.m. at the Presbyterian church at Rocky Mount and burial will be in the Rocky Mount cemetery.
An employe of the Libby-Owens-Ford Glass company for 21 years, Bass was a member of the Central Christian church of Shreveport. He has lived here for about 30 years.
He is survived by his widow; four daughters, Mrs. D.J. Poolock, Collinston; Mrs. C.H. Ferguson, Mrs. W.J. Thomas and Mrs. M.K Hopper, all of Shreveport; nine grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
