Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., Mrs. Bass (nee Drake) lived in Camden before moving to Clayton 49 years ago. She was a member of the class of 1946 at Camden High School. She was a member of St. Mary's Church, Williamstown. Mrs. Bass is survived by two sons, Robert F. Jr. and Jesse, both of Clayton; five daughters, Dorothy R. Elliott, Chris and Lorene, all of Clayton, Claire M. of Asheville, N.C., and Patricia Farren of Sicklerville; and two grandchildren. Friends may call Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday after 9:30 a.m. at the Barclay Funeral Home, Broad and Maple streets, Clayton. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 11 a.m. in St. Mary's, Carrol Avenue and Main Street, Williamstown. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Williamstown.
