  Notes	Courier-Post, Camden, New Jersey, Friday, December 24, 1954 Joint Funeral Set For 2 Victims of Train, Car Crash, Williamstown A double funeral will be held here Monday for Mrs. Gertrude Bass, 61, of Cold Mill rd., Franklinville, and her daughter, Mrs. Claire M. Fanz, 38, of Stanton ave., Franklinville, who were killed Wednesday when their automobile was struck at a grade crossing here by a PRSL train. High Mass for Mrs. Bass and her daughter will be celebrated Monday at 9 a. m. in St. Mary's R. C. Church, here, and burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. Friends may call Sunday night at the Buck and Bell Funeral Home, 420 S, Main st. Mrs. Bass had been a resilient of the Franklinville community 27 years. She is survived by her husband, Jesse O. Bass; six sons, Jesse, Jr.,of the Army, Vincent of Camden; Wilbur and Robert, both of Clayton; Ernest, of Pitman, and Joseph, of Franklinville and two brothers, Harry and Edward Simpson, both of Philadelphia. Mrs. Fanz, was a press operator for the Owens-Illinois Glass Co., at Glassboro. Besides her father and brothers, she is survived by her husband, George Fanz, and five children, Gertrude, Janice, Charles. Robert and George Jr. Robert, Charles and Janice were injured in the accident. All are in West Jersey Hospital, Camden.Robert's condition is critical and the conditions of Charles and Janice are serious.
