      BLADENBORO ? Mrs. Fannie Jenkins Bass, 87, of Route 2 died Friday night in Southeastern General Hospital. The funeral will be held today at 2:30 p.m. in Abbottsburg, Baptist Church, conducted by the Rev. George Langley. Burial will be in Barnesville Cemetery.
      Surviving are her daughters, Mrs. Mittie Connor, Mrs. Ophelia Wilkerson, Mrs. Francis Bowen and Mrs. Luella James of Lumberton, Miss Marie Bass of the home, and Mrs. Bernice Jackson of Bladenboro; her sons, Lamon and Wilton Bass of Clarksville, Va., Arthur Bass of Portsmouth, Va., Brady Bass of Bladenboro, and Bickett Bass of Atlanta; her sisters, Mrs. Esther Hammond and Mrs. Nettie Banes of Cerro Gordo; 34 grandchildren, 58 great-grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren, they family will be at the home of Mrs. Bernice Jackson on Route 2.
