He was born in Niagara Falls, N.Y., October 2, 1940, to Clarence and Mildred Nalls Bass. He was an instructor in education, of the Baptist faith and a resident of Lorida since 1999, coming from West Palm Beach, Fla. He is survived by his wife, Maxine Bass, Lorida; daughter, Kim Nienhouse; son, Chris Bass; sisters, Gayle Cobb, Chattanooga, Tenn., and Beatrice Patterson, Andalusia, Ala.; and four grandchildren, Amanda Ray, Travis Nienhouse, Jason Bass and Joshua Bass. Memorial services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, March 18, 2008, at the chapel of Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home, with the Rev. Jonathan Booher officiating. Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home Sebring, Fla.
