  Notes	Greensboro News and Record, North Carolina, Friday, December 18, 1987 Guilford County Mrs. Mary Bass Mrs. Mary Frances Sykes Bass, 86, formerly of 510 Sykes Ave., died Wednesday at The Everrnnes Inc. Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Hanes-Lineberry Vanstory Street Chapel. Burial will be in Guilford Memorial Park. Mrs. Bass was a native of Franklin County, had lived in Greensboro since 1941, was a retired seamstress for Jones Fur Service and a member of Bessemer Baptist Church. Survivors are daughter, Mrs. Ila B. Purgason of Greensboro; sons, J.W. Bass of Rocky Mounty, H. Clinton, C. Earl, Bill, Pete and C. Maurice Bass of Greensboro; sisters, Mrs. Mattie Bobbitt of Louisburg, Mrs. Eunice Bunn of Raleigh, 13 grandchildren. The family will be at the funeral home 7-9 p.m. today, other times at the residence of Bill Bass, 5201 Ainsworth Drive. Memorial contributions may be made to Bessemer Baptist Church, 2812 E. Bessemer Ave., Greensboro, N.C. 27405.
