  Notes	Times Picayune, New Orleans, Louisiana, 28 October 1994 Bass George Lawrence Bass, retired president and chief executive officer of Bass Industries of Houma, died Thursday of cancer at his home in Gretna. He was 52. Mr. Bass was born in Sulphur and lived in Houma before moving to Gretna three years ago. He was a graduate of New Iberia High School and served four years in the Air Force. He was a member of Jerusalem Temple, serving as potentate, recorder, a member of the board of directors and of the board of trustees. He was a former member of The Royal Order of Jesters, New Orleans Court. Survivors include his wife, Laural Skinner Bass; three daughters, Debra B. King, Karen B. Cantrelle and Tara L. Bass; two sons, Tony L. Sr. and Kurt O. Bass; a brother, Sam L. Bass Jr.; a sister, Lorraine Bass; and three grandchildren. Visitation will be today from 4 to 10 P.M. at Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 West Bank Expressway, Harvey. The funeral will be held Saturday at 11 A.M. at Mothe Funeral Home. Burial will follow at 1 P.M. at St. Francis Cemetery No. 2 in Houma.
