Gary Prosser Bass
Gary Prosser Bass, 63, died at his home Sunday, March 10, 2002, in Goodspring.
Visitation will take place from 4-9 p.m. Monday at Carr-Erwin Chapel. The service will take place at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with burial following at Stella Cemetery.
He was the son of the late Grady and Wilma Bass, was a native of Giles County and was a deacon at Grace Baptist Church.
He is survived his wife, Linda Bass of Goodsprings; sons, Gary Bass of Mt. Pleasant and Michael Bass of Shady Grove; daughters, Michelle Brown of Chattanooga and Angela Crowley of North Carolina; a brother, Gerald Bass of Memphis; a sister, Delynn McNight of Alabama; and 12 grandchildren.

Bass-Brown
Mr. and Mrs. Gary P. Bass announce the engagement of their daughter, Michelle Yvonne, to Richard Allen Brown, son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas B. Brown of Marietta. The bride elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Grady E. Bass of pluaski, Tenn,nd Mrs. Alfred Ashburn and the late Ernest Prosser. She is a graduate4 of Central High School in Columbia, Tenn., and is employed with Electrolux Corporation in Columbia. The future groom is the grandson of Mrs. Ruth Dunagan of Sylacauga, Ala, and the late Mr. Ben Dunagan, and the late Mr. and Mrs. O.B. Brown. He is a graduate of Wheeler High School and is currently attending Southern Technical Institute. He is employed by the Kroger Company. The wedding is planned for March 19 at Pleasant Heights Baptist Church in Columbia, Tenn.
