Ralph Eugene Bass
August 24, 1919 ? April 22, 2019
Ralph Bass passed away on Monday, April 22, 2019 at the age of 89. Beloved husband of Joyce Ann Bass (nee Schuler) for 62 years. Beloved father of George (Linda) Bass, Dennis (Jill) Bass, and Richard (Patricia) Bass; cherished grandpa of David (Jamie) Bass, Andrew (Sara Thies) Bass, and Katelyn (Ryan) Fitzler; great grandpa to five great grandkids. Dear brother of Bill (Kay), the late James, Bertha, Albert, and Mildred Moeller. He was a dear uncle, cousin, and friend of many.
Ralph served in the U.S. Air Force stationed in Anchorage for 4 years before returning home to Missouri. He got a job at Southwestern Bell where he met Joyce Ann. He retired from Southwestern Bell where he worked for over 36 years. Since he couldn't sit still in retirement, he worked at Schnucks for another 20 years until he retired from there in 2017. He was an animal lover, especially his granddogs. Most of all, Ralph loved his family. He is fondly remembered and will be dearly missed by all who knew and love him.
SERVICES: Visitation at Hutchens Mortuary, 675 Graham Rd., Florissant, Wednesday, April 24, 4:00-8:00 pm. The Funeral will be at 10:00 am on Thursday, April 25. Internment at Sacred Heart Cemetery following the funeral.
