Funeral services for William Latimer Bass, 59 year old member of a prominent Baldwin County family, who died from injuries received in a sawmill accident were held Sunday afternoon from Moore's Chapel , the Rev. Carlton Dyches officiating. Interment was in the Milledgeville cemetery.
Mr. Bass is survived by his wife, the former Miss Minnie Lee Seymour, two sons, Leonard Bass and William Bass, both of Milledgeville; four daughters, Mrs. M. D. Hodges and Mrs. Cecil Brooks both of Milledgeville, Mrs. G. M. Sinclair, Columbus and Mrs. M. C. Comanni, of Tampa Fla.; one brother, John Bass, Albany; and two sisters, Mrs. W. C. Blizzard, Sandersville; and Miss Susie Bass, Milledgeville.
An escort of pallbearers consisted of Hort Brown. T. S. Jeanes, Dollie Roberson, Ralph Simmerson, Grady Prosser, and Frank Broome.
