Funeral services for Tom Bass, 84, of Devereaux will be held Tuesday at 3 p.m. in the home of his brother at Devereaux. The Rev. Charles J. Pattishall and the Rev. Joseph A. Moore will officiate. Burial will be in the Bass Cemetery near Devereaux. Mr. Bass died Sunday following a long illness. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Effie J. Bass; one son, Cecil L. Bass, Devereaux; one daughter, Mrs. J.D. Martin, Milledgeville; one brother, Curtis Bass, Devereaux; nine grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Moore Funeral Home of Millegeville is in charge of arrangements.
