Paul Thomas Bass

Paul Bass, 90, of Oviedo, Florida, went home to be with the Lord on November 5, 2024. Paul was born on October 23, 1934 in Calhoun County, Arkansas, the son of the late Dock Lee & Lloyd Alma (Byars) Bass.
Prior to his retirement he had a 20-year career in the United States Air Force where he received two Air Force Commendation medals, retiring as a MSGT in 1975. He had a second 20 year career with the Federal Aviation Administration.
He was predeceased by his wife of 51 years, Jean, in 2017, seven brothers, and a great-granddaughter.
Paul is survived by his son David (Kim) Bass, and daughter Carla (Karl) Hodges. He is also survived by six grandchildren Brett (Melissa) Hodges, Casey (Michaela) Hodges, Eric (Rachael) Hodges, Kelly (Taylor) McKinnon, Evan Bass, Ian Bass and 8 great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held Tuesday November 12, 2024 at 10:00 am at Willow Creek Presbyterian Church in Winter Springs, FL. Interment will follow at Drawdy- Rouse Cemetery in Orlando, FL.
