Survived by his wife, Shirley Bass; children, Kathy (Brian) Bradey of Pittstown, New Jersey and Laurie Bass of Magnolia, New Jersey; brothers, Carl, Verl and Sam Bass; sisters, Faye Chapel, Betty McNabb, Lois Clark, Mary Penney, Lenore Liles and Edith Cox; and grandchildren, Kelli, Molly and Megan. Preceded in death by parents, Otis and Dona Bass; three brothers; and one sister. Tom was born June 26, 1934, in Claredon, Texas. Tom and Shirley married October 2, 1955, at Tabor Lutheran Church. He served in the U.S. Army and retired from C.F.& I. as a payroll clerk in June 1996. He was a member of the Model "T" Club. Service, 2 p.m. Thursday, August 11, 2011, in the Montgomery & Steward Chapel with Pastor Cindy Jacobson officiating.
