Crafton D. Bass
Crafton D. Bass, 72, of Salemburg died Thursday at Sampson Memorial Hospital in Clinton.
Funeral services were held Saturday at Salemburg Baptist Church.
Mr. Bass was a native of Sampson County, the son of Lonnie D. and Tempie Jackson Bass. He was a retired contractor.
Surviving are his wife, Ruby Jones Bass; three daughters, Marily Lovell of Clinton, Carol Adair of Salemburg and Cheryl Embry of Wilmoington; two sons, Keith Bass of Salemburg and David Bass of Wilmington; four sisters, Crotia Blanchard of Salemburg, Erma Peterson of Clinton, Alease Compton of Hendersonville and Alice Royal of Salemburg; seven brothers, Newberry Bass, Johnson Bass, Lonnie Jackson Bass and Carl G. Bass, all of Clinton; Shelton Bass of Lakeland, Fla.; Howard Bass of Dunn; and Milton Bass of Fayetteville; and 12 grandchildren.
Arrangements were by Crumpler-Honeycutt Funeral Home of Clinton.
