  Notes	Okeechobee County, Florida Louise Short Bass Okeechobee County, Florida Louise Short Bass Louise S. Bass, age 77, of Fort Meade, died Tuesday, Feb. 11, 2003, at her residence. Mrs. Bass was born on Sept. 17, 1925, in Washington, Ga. She was a lifelong resident of Polk County, a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. Survivors include: her husband of 51 years, Henry C. Bass of Fort Meade; daughter, Mary Ann Pollard of Mims; son, Frank Johnson of Fort Meade; two step-sons, Henry E. Bass and Ronnie Bass, both of Fort Meade; two sisters, Billy Joe Linsay and Sue Lee, both of Lakeland; brother, Bobby Short of Gardner; six grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and several great great-grandchildren also survive her. Visitation will be held on Friday, Feb. 14, 2003, from 6 until 7 p.m., at the McLean Funeral Home, 306 East Broadway, Fort Meade. Funeral services will be conducted graveside on Saturday, Feb. 15, 2003, at 1 p.m., at the Evergreen Cemetery in Fort Meade. All arrangements have been under the direction and care of the McLean Funeral Home, Fort Meade.
