  Notes	Arkansas Gazette, Little Rock, Wednesday, January 14, 1959 Mrs. Sarah K. Bass Widow of G.P. Bass Mrs. Sarah Russell Bass, aged 96, of 3002 Washington Street, widow of George Porter Bass, died Tuesday at her home. Mrs. Bass was a native of Bucksnort (Dallas County) and was the oldest living member of the Temperance Hill Methodist Church near Fordyce. Survivors include four sons, D.L. Bass of Bearden, E.G. Bass of Beaumont, Tex., Sam Bass of Farmerville, La., and Oliver Bass of El Dorado; three daughters, Mrs. J.W. Anthony of Murfreesboro and Mrs. C. W. Murry and Mrs. Virginia A. Ellis, both of Little Rock, 46 grandchildren, 62 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren. Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Temperance Hill Methodist Church by Rev. H.R. Nabors and Rev. T.J. Goacher. Pallbearers will be Basis Bass, Ree Bass, George Bass, Clarence Anthony, Harold Bass, Sam Bass Jr., George Murry, John Ellis and Oliver Bass Jr., all grandsons. Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Temperance Hill Methodist Church. Burial will be at Temperance Hill Cemetery by Ruebel Funeral Home.
