Don was born on February 10, 1943 in Fair Grove the son of Howard and Maude (Boehne) Bass. He was a graduate of Fair Grove High School and a farmer. He is survived by his children, Donna, Pete, and Danny a sister Patty McNabb and his beloved dog "Charlie". Visitation will be Thursday November 1, 2012 from 6'30-7'30p.m. in Greenlawn Funeral Home North. Funeral services will be Friday November 2, 2012 at 2p.m. in the funeral home. Inurment will be at a later date. Memorial contributions are suggested to Lindsay Austin Smith Fund in care of the Community Foundation of the Ozarks P.O, Box 8960 Springfield Mo.
