Bass
Thomas A. Bass, Sr. of 1600 Westboork Ave. died Friday, July 19, 1985. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Sallie Sydnor Kirby Bass; one daughter, Mrs. Carolyn B. Armentrout of Norton, Va.; one son, Thomas A. Bass, Jr. of Richmond; two brothers, Bruce Carter Bass of Richmond and Joseph Jennings Bass, Jr. of Charlotte, N.C.; also five grandchildren. Remains rest at the Parham Chapel/Woody Funeral Home, 1771 Parham Rd. Funeral services will be conducted 10:30 a.m. Monday at Lakeside Presbyterian Church. Interment Westhampton Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the American Heart Association. Family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at the funeral home.
