Mildred Sarchet
Mrs. Robert (Mildred) Sarchet, 56, of 418 Warm Springs Dr., Fairborn, died Tuesday at Greene Memorial Hospital where she had been a patient the last week.
She was born May 31, 1920 in old Fairfield. She had resided in Fairborn all her life.
She was the daughter of Roy and Kathryn (Mille) Bassett. She is survived by her husband, Robert; three daughters, Mrs. Kathryn Hasham, Cincinnati, Ann and Patricia Sarchet, both of Fairborn; her mother Mrs. Kathyrn Bassett, Fairborn, one brother, the Rev. Paul H. Bassett, Worthington, and one granddaughter, Shana Hasham.
She was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ, member of the League of Women Voters, Rotary Ans, Greene Country Club, past president of East Elementary PTA, and was a junior at Wright State University majoring in political science.
She was a 1941 graduate of Miami Valley Hospital School of Nursing, Dayton, member of Audubon Society of Dayton, and Dayton Philharmonic Association.
Visitation will be at the Burcham Funeral Home, 119 E. Main St., Fairborn, 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home with the Rev. David Schwab officiating. Burial will be in Fairfield Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Mildred Sarchet Audubon Fund, First National Bank, Fairborn.
