Lillie Mae Hepworth, 84, died today. The funeral will be conducted by the Rev. Tim Hopkins at 11 a.m. Friday at Joyner?s Funeral Home, 4100 U.S. 264 West. Burial will follow in Maplewood Cemetery.
Surviving are her husband, Ralph Hepworth; two daughters, Lucille Vander Hoven and Janice Sansone, both of Delaware; two sons, Joseph bass of Wendell and Donald Bass of New Jersey; two sisters, Polly Boykin and Dillie Pulley, both of Wilson; 22 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 7-9 p.m. and at other times at 518 Forest Road.
