Rocky Mount - Nellie Ruth Bass Beebe, 81, passed away Sunday, July 8, 2018. She was born April 6, 1937 in Lucama, North Carolina to the late Jesse Wright and Essie Rola Bass. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbur Beebe; two sisters and three brothers. Among the ones left to cherish her memory, her daughter, Julie Beebe Proctor; her son, Timothy "Timmy" Beebe of Rocky Mount; two sisters, Bonnie Webber of Cove City, and Shirley Brantley of Rocky Mount; six grandchildren, Michael Shane Ingram, Stanley Joel Proctor, Jr., Jennifer Nichole Earp, Jeremy Alvin Beebe, Randall Clarence Beebe and Taylor Paige Beebe; five great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Laura Paige Beebe. Visitation with family and friends will be Tuesday, July 10, 2018 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Cornerstone Funeral Home and other time at the home, 3500 Carriage Farm Road, Rocky Mount North Carolina. A graveside service will be held Wednesday, July 11, 2018 at 11:00 a.m., Rocky Mount Memorial Park with Reverend Glen Hill officiating.
