Jesse R. Bass
Jesse R. Bass, 51, died Saturday, Aug. 20, 1994.
Mr. Bass was born in Wilson, N.C., a son of the late Jesse W. and Essie Rol Bass. He was a Baptist.
Surviving are his wife, Margie E. Bass; three sons, Richard D. Bass of Virginia Beach and Tommy W. Bass and Joseph R. Bass, both of Suffolk; a grandson, Trent W. Bass; a brother, Charles R. Bass of Nashville, N.C.; five sisters, Mamie B. Parker of Currituck, N.C., Betty B. Lewis of Chesapeake, Nellie B. Beebe and Shirley B. Brantley, both of Rocky Mount, N.C., and Bonnie B. Webber of Cove City, N.C.
Funeral services will be held at Johnson Funeral Home, Sunset Avenue Chapel, at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday with the Rev. Gene Wood officiating. Burial will follow in the Bass Family Cemetery, Lucama, N.C.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. today; other times at 316 Kingston Ave., Rocky Mount. Flowers will be accepted or contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or the American Lung Association. Johnson Funeral Home, Sunset Avenue Chapel, Rocky Mount, N.C.
