Eloise Kelley Bass
HARTSVILLE - Funeral service for Eloise Kelley Bass, 87, who died peacefully on Saturday, February 20, 2016, will be held at 11 o'clock on Monday, February 22, 2016, in Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church. The Rev. Becky Forrest will officiate with burial in Wesley Chapel United Methodist Cemetery. The family will receive friends following the service and other times at the Andrews residence, 307 Kings Place, Hartsville, SC.
Mrs. Bass, widow of Harry Lee Bass, Sr., was born in Darlington County, SC, a daughter of the late Homie and Ferol Clanton Kelley. She was a lifelong member of Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church, and was the director of the Kelleytown Baptist Church kindergarten for many years. She was a beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who loved her family dearly.
Surviving are her son, Harry (Diane) Bass of Hartsville, SC; daughter, Debbie (Johnny) Andrews of Hartsville, SC; grandchildren, Joy (Jonathan) Jones, Jennifer (Jason Boynes) Bass, Kelley Bass, Thomas (Sarah) Andrews, Sarah Andrews; great-grandchildren, Emilee Grace and Caroline Jones, Lilly, Ethan and Jackson Andrews; brother, James Kelley; sister, Doris Ramsdell; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Thomas Kelley and Howard Kelley.
