Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Carr & Erwin Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Friday at the Carr & Erwin Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Brick Church Cemetery. The Limestone County, Ala. native was the daughter of the late Wiley T. and Rowenna B. Howard Boyd. She was a retired secretary at the Beech Hill High School. Survivors include her husband, Owen Bass of Brick Church Community; daughters, Jane Guinn of Brick Church Community and Mae Gillespie of the Olivet Community; sister-in-law, Beulah Boyd of Minor Hill; five grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
