Gail Albert Bass
Gail Albert Bass, age 48 years, 3312 Corby Street, expired at his home on Tuesday, June 13th. He was born in Lawrence, Kansas and had lived in Omaha twenty years. Mr. Bass was an Union Pacific Railroad employee.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Wilmer Bass; one son, Mr. Robert Bass; one daughter, Evelyne Bass, all of Omaha; two brothers, Mrs. John Wright, Mr. R.B. Wright of Chicago, Ill.; four sisters, Mrs. Ruth Ella Thomas, Mrs. Julia Dilliett, Mrs. Eva Shaw, Mrs. Edith Wright, all of Chicago, four grandchildren; one uncle, Rev. Alfred Clay, Detroit, Mich.; two aunts, Mrs. Ollie Spears, Los Angeles, Calif., Mrs. Lula Belle Salesbury, Lawrence, Kansas.
Funeral services were held Monday morning June 19th at eleven o?clock from the Sharon Seventh-Day Adventist Church, with the Elder S.D. Meyers officiating assisted by Elder Lorenzo Paytee, Mr. Nathaniel Scarbrough, Mr. Sidney Barnett. Pallbearers were Messrs. William Henry, James Manley, H.R. Mitchell, W.L. Rodgers, Claude McKinney, E.M. Hayes, honorary bearers were associates of the Union Pacific Railroad.
Interment was held at Forest Lawn Cemetery with arrangements by the Thomas Funeral Home.
