  Notes	News and Observer Raleigh, North Carolina Saturday, May 3, 1958 Mrs. Virginia B. Bryant Bailey - Mrs. Virginia Bass Bryant, 61, of Route 1, died at her home Thursday afternoon. Surviving are her husband, Carley Bryant; four sons, Doyette of Route 1, Bailey; Raleigh of Springfield, Massachusetts, Luke and Kenneth Bryant, both of the home; three daughters, Mrs. Mack Edwards of Middlesex, Mrs. Johnny Moore of Wilson and Mrs. Earl Brown of Middlesex; five half-brothers, Raymond, Paul, Frank, Willard and Darvis Bass, all of Route 2, Middlesex; one half-sister, Mrs. Alvin Whitley of Route 1, Bailey; eight grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 3 p.m. in Samaria Baptist Church, conducted by the Reverend Willie Renfrow. Burial will be in the Morgan Cemetery.
