Frank Bass Dies at Shelbyville
Shelbyville, Ind., Aug. 9.-Frank Bass, 65 years old, Shelbyville manufacturer and canner and prominent in the fraternal circles of the county and state, is dead at his home here. He had been critically ill for two weeks following a sudden heart attack at his home.
He was born and reared in Shelby county, and for a number of years was engaged in the furniture manufacturing business here. In the past few years he had served as secretary and treasurer of the St. Paul Canning Company at St. Paul, Ind. He was educated at Hartsville college, Valparaiso university and Franklin college. After his graduation from the latter institution he was engaged in teaching for several years.
Mr. Bass was thirty-second degree Mason.
