Obituary
Alexander Milligan was born in the State of Pennsylvania, January 26, 1822. Died December 10, 1893, aged 71 years, 10 months and 15 days. He emigrated to Ohio with his parents in early childhood, was married to Elizabeth Fox in Newark, Ohio, May 14, 1843, by whom one daughter was born, and at whose home he departed this life.
He united with the M.E. church about forty years ago. He leaves evidence with his daughter of his Christian faith and trust in God, and his assurance of a sweet rest in Heaven. He leaves one daughter, Mrs. Jonathan Brickley, eleven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren with numerous friends to mourn his departure.
Funeral services from Evangelical Lutheran church, Uniondale, Indiana. Remains interred in the Bluffton cemetery. Rev. J.W. Huffman, pastor.
