  Notes	Kilgore News Journal, Friday, March 24, 1995 Horace Bass Service for Horace Bass, 75, of Kilgore, were 2 p.m. today at the Rader Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Pat Monk and Earl W. (Buddy) Duggins officiating. Burial followed in Hickory Grove Cemetery. Mr. Bass died Wednesday at Stone Road Nursing Center in Kilgore. He was born July 1, 1919, in Bowie, lived most of his life in Kilgore and attended Forest Home Baptist Church. Survivors include one sister, Mae Bass of Kilgore; four nephews and seven nieces. He was preceded in death by two nephews, Joe and Jerry Bass. Pallbearers were Ray Stone, Bill McClung, Billy Humphrey, Travis Crews, Thomas Kinney and Sonny Hanks. Honorary pallbearers were members of the Samp Dudley Sunday School Class and close friends of Mr. Bass. Memorial contributions may be made to the East Texas Treatment Center.
