Darlene Rhae Bassett (picture included)
Darlene Rhae Bassett, age 78, formerly of Pemberville, OH, most recently of Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, passed away on Friday, June 26, 2015 at St. Agnes Hospital, Fond du Lac, Wisconsin.
She was born on August 17, 1936 in Gibsonburg, OH, to George and Ruby (Zeigler) Pollard. On October 6, 1954 she married Joe Bassett in Wayne, OH and he survived.
Darlene never knew a stranger for long. After meeting her, people felt they had known her their whole life. She will be remembered as ?Grandma Dar? by many of all ages.
Darlene is survived by her husband: Joe of Fond du Lac WI, children: Terry (Michelle) Bassett of Colorado Springs, CO, Tracy (Cindy) Bassett of Pemberville, OH, Tammy (Paul) Kuzio of Fond du Lac, WI, nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and sister: Coleen Blausey.
Private graveside services will be conducted in Wood County Memory Gardens, Bowling Green, OH.
Memorial contributions may be given to: Wounded Warriors Project.
