  Notes	Springfield News-Sun September 7, 2011 Maxine Pierson Pierson, Maxine, 95, of Stryker Homes in Auburn, New York, passed away peacefully September 5, 2011 at Mercy Rehab. She was born March 24, 1916 in Springfield to Mark S. and Edna (King) Bassett. She is survived by her children, Barbara Malone and Julie and Allan Fedyshyn of Auburn, her grandchildren, Michael Boglione, Carrie and Molly Malone of Auburn, Mark and Dawn Pierson and brother William Bassett of California and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lee, who passed away September 6, 1974; son, Mark L.; brother, Mark; and sister, Emily Agnew of Dayton. There will be no calling hours. Graveside services will be held at St. Bernard Cemetery at the convenience of the family. Donations in Maxine's memory may be made to the charity of choice. Arrangements by Conroy Funeral Home.
