  Notes	The Madison County Journal, November 13, 2002 George L. Bassett George Lee Bassett, 51, of Danielsville, died Tuesday, November 12, 2002, at his home. Mr. Bassett was born in Greenville, S.C. on July 16, 1951. He was a son of the late James (Shorty) and Ruby Pauline Hunsinger Bassett. Mr. Bassett was a brick mason and a member of Calvary Temple Church. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Howard Edward Bassett and Larry Gene Bassett. A memorial service was held at noon Wednesday, November 13, at Calvary Temple Church with Mr. Bassett's sister, the Rev. Patsy Hayes, officiating. Survivors include three sisters, Mary Bassett and the Rev. Hayes, bo Danielsville, and Bobbie Callaway, Washington; two brothers, James (Jimmy) Bassett, Danielsville, and Woodie Bassett, Comer; and nieces and nephews. Pruitt Funeral Home, Royston, was in charge of arrangements.
