She is survived by her two sisters, Joanne Stevenson of Stuart, FL, and Shirley Ely of Old Lyme, CT. Her brother, now deceased, was D. Lee Bassett of Mentor. Betty was the beloved mother of three surviving children, Don French of N. Canton, Jocelyn Lampert of Portland, OR, and Tim French of Aurora. Her surviving grandchildren are Elizabeth Brown of Portland, OR, and Christopher, Michael and Erica French of Aurora. Devoted to Christ, Betty planned the memorial service, reception following, to be held at The Church in Aurora, 146 Chillicothe Rd., S., at 4 P.M. Monday, Jan. 14.
