He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Ruth K. Bass; one son, George Washington Bass, Jr.; five brothers, Thomas Bass, Joseph Bass, John Bass, Charles Bass, and Robert Bass, all of Seaboard, N.C.; four sisters, Mrs. Annie Howell, of Seaboard; Mrs. Rosa Edgston, of Kinsley, N.C.; Miss Minnie Bass and Mrs. Lennie Sotrey, of Seaboard. Mr. Bass was a member of the South Street Baptist Church. The body was removed to the Snellings Funeral Home. Funeral Arrangements will be announced later.
