Reynolds Funeral Home announces with deepest sympathy the passing of Mrs. Ezell Bass, 86 of Decatur, Alabama. Mrs. Bass died July 30, 2013 at her residence.
Mrs. Ezell Kelly Bass was born May 6, 1927 to the late Will and Mattie Bohanon Kelly. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and two sisters.
Ezell confessed hope in Christ at an early age and joined St. Peter Missionary Baptist Church. She served faithfully on the usher board for over twenty years.
She was married to the late Matthew Bass.
She leaves to cherish her memory: a loving and devoted sister Mary L. Rather; a loving and devoted niece, Linda Rather Anderson; a loving and devoted nephew, Richard Rather (Callie); two loving nieces, Kim King (Greg), and Joe Helen Smith of Scottsboro, AL; a nephew, M.C. Kelly of Scottsboro, AL; a host of great nieces, great nephews, cousins and friends.
Pallbearers will be nephews and friends and flower bearers will be nieces and friends.
