James M. Bass
James M. Bass, 48 of Beach Lake died Tuesday, Oct. 12, 2010 in the Wayne Memorial Hospital, Honesdale, PA. He was married to the former Donna Lyn Wood.
Born on October 6, 1962 in Honesdale he was the son of the late Mervin Bass and Connie O'Hara Bass of Beach Lake.
Jim graduated from Honesdale High School, Class of 1982 and was employed by Dunn's Sawmill.
He attended St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church in Liberty, NY.
He is also survived by a brother: Thomas Bass and his wife Amy of Beach Lake; a sister, Mary Bass, at home; three nieces: Debra Franklin and her husband Bill, Taylor Bass, and Erin Bass all of Beach Lake; two great nieces: Kaitlyn Franklin and Morgan Franklin both of Beach Lake; and one great nephew: Billy Franklin also of Beach Lake; father and mother in law: Lyman and Jean Wood of Liberty, NY; a brother in law, Lyman Wood III of Tucson AZ; and his beloved pets: Midnight, Sasha and Lucy at home.
In addition to his father, Jim was preceded in death by a sister, Barbara Bass.
A Prayer Service will be held on Friday, October 15, 2010 at 7:00 PM in the Arthur A. Bryant Funeral Home 1228 North Main Street Honesdale, PA 18431.
Friends may visit from 4:00 - 7:00 PM at the funeral home on Friday.
Interment will be in the Smith Hill Cemetery.
