Bass, the husband of Flora Bass, also leaves a daughter, Ms. Doris Johnson of Rivervale; three sons, Donald Bass of Bondsville, Bennis Bass of Cushman and James Bass Jr. of West Ridge; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. James C. Bass of Saltillo, Miss.; seven sisters, Ms. Agnes M. Tipton and Ms. Lottie Norman, both of Saltillo, Ms. Lee Frances Coyles and Ms. Mary Scroggin, both of Pontotoc, Miss., Ms. Janett Stacks of Guntown, Miss., Ms. Betty Billard of Memphis and Ms. Glenda J. Bass of Jacksonville, Fla.; a brother, James Edward Bass of Guntown, 13 grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
