  Notes	Elizabeth A. 'Sally' Bassett Sept. 2, 1912 - March 9, 2002 Elizabeth A. "Sally" Bassett, 89, 505 N. Bradner Ave., died at 9:25 p.m. Saturday in Bradner Village Health Care Center. She was born in Union Township, Wells County, to the late Grover Cleveland and Ethel Fern (Wilson) Brickley. She lived in the Marion and Wabash area for many years. She married Ralph J. Bassett on May 16, 1932. He died Sept. 7, 2001. She was formerly employed at Marion National Bank and Marion Hardware. She was the co-owner of the former Jiffy Grill and formerly operated a sewing and alterations shop, both in Marion. She was a member of the First Friends Church, Marion, and the United Society of Friends Women. She also was a member of the Marion Women's Department Club. Surviving are a daughter, Delaine Highley, Marion; a son, Roger (Carol), Roselle, Ill.; four grandchildren, Robin and Tracy Emmons, and Perry and Jeffrey; and 10 great-grandchildren. She also was preceded in death by two sisters, Zelah Brown and Mary Cantrell; and a brother, Leonard Brickley. Services are at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave., with Pastor George Taylor officiating. Burial is in Horeb Cemetery, Uniondale. Visitation is 4 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to First Friends Church Memorial Scholarship Fund, 2211 N. Wabash Ave., Marion, Ind. 46952.
