  Notes	Shelbyville News 21 April 1999 James F. Taggart, 71, Waldron, died this morning at his home. He was born Dec. 1, 1927, in Shelby County to Franklin and Thena (Stevens) Taggart. He married Mary C. (Poole) Taggart on June 8, 1998, and she survives. He had previously been married to Betty (Bassett) Taggart on Aug. 26, 1947, and she preceded him in death on Sept. 14, 1994. Mr. Taggart retired in 1993 fr Knauf Fiber Glass BmbH, where he had worked as a furnace tender. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. Mr. Taggart was a member of Waldron Bapti Church, Moose Lodge No. 2118 and a leader in the Boy Scouts of Americ Survivors include four sons, James Taggart Jr., Vevay, Andrew L. Taggart, St. Paul, and Timothy Taggart and Michael Taggart, both of Shelbyville; seven daughters, Betty Shook, Milroy, Bonnie J. Sipes and Elizabeth D. Redd, both of Shelbyville, Jennie Daugherty, North Vernon, Sherri L. Prine, Waldron, Tina M. Foster, Winfield, Tenn., and Kristy L. Ristuccia, Clarksville, Tenn.; three stepsons, William La Fever, George La Fever and Paul La Fever, all of Arizona; a stepdaughter, Rhonda F. Lee, New Mexico; fo sisters, Kate Lozser, North Vernon, and Virginia Jackson, Norma Stanley and Deloris McClain, all of Shelbyville; a brother, Robert Taggart, Greenwood; 33 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; and one step- great-grandchild. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Glenn E. George Funeral Home, St. Paul, with the Rev. L.J. Poe officiating. Burial will be in Bennett Cemetery in Shelby County. Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p. Friday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Shelby County Cancer Society.
