Kenneth Bassett (Picture included)

Kenneth Bassett, 79, formerly of Cloquet, residing in California since 1988, died peacefully at home in California on Tuesday, August 4, 2015.
Kenny was a 1954 graduate of Cloquet High School. He was a dedicated employee at Conwed for 32 years and Walmart (California) for 18 years.
Kenny enjoyed fishing, camping and snowmobiling. In retirement he enjoyed woodworking under the California sunshine and relaxing with a cold beer.
Kenny is preceded in death by his loving wife, Josephine Maslowski Bassett, his mother Eleanor Korby Bassett and father Burton Benjamin Bassett.
He is survived by his sister Joyce (Ed) Hamer, step daughter Brenda (Bill) Lee Edwards, son Bryan (Cindy), stepdaughter Linda (Tom) DeCaigny, daughter Jannell, stepsons Tom Lee, and Jody Lee, several very special grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be on Saturday October 3, 2015 at 11:30 am at Maple Grove Cemetery, Cloquet, followed by a Life Celebration at Tom and Linda DeCaigny?s home.
