SLIVER SPRINGS, N.Y. - Eula W. Bailey, 93, of Route 19A, and formerly of Bow,
died July 13 at Wyoming County Community Hospital in Warsaw, N.Y., after a
long illness. She was born in Easthampton, Mass., the daughter of William and
Rosa (Butterfield) Warren. She lived in Bow for 30 years before movi
Silver Springs, N.Y., in 1997. Bailey worked as a licensed practical nurse and
as a cosmetician and owned a food service with her husband. Survivors include
a son, Kenneth Bassett of Worcester, Mass.; a daughter, Jacqueline Jaggard of
Silver Springs, N.Y.; 16 grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and nieces and
nephews. Her first husband, Clifton Bassett, died previously; her second
husband, Loren Bailey, died in 1991. Three brothers, Richard Warren, Roger
Warren and Harold Warren, and two sisters, Marjorie Warren and Evelyn
Bakstrand, also died previously. Calling hours will not be held. Graveside
services will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at Evans Cemetery in Bow. Memorial
donations may be made to Hospice Care, 204-206 Main St., Perry, N.Y. 14530.
Harmon-Watson Funeral Home in Castily, N.Y., is in charge of the arrangements.
