Bridal Party
Showers to Be Pre-Nuptial Fetes
Bride-elect Georgia Lee Koons and her future husband, Richard Bessette, have named their attendants for their wedding April 19 at Our Lady of Assumption Church.
They are Bernice Brandon as maid of honor and Tom Fisher as best man.
Rev. F.J. Rigney will officiate at the informal double ring rite.
Two showers will fete the future bride.
Mrs. R.E. Jenkins will be hostess in her home at 1304 Wainwright street April 8 when gifts of lingerie are presented to Miss Koons.
Receiving hours will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and coffee will be served from a table decorated in the bridal theme.
Mrs. William Follett of 1014 Upson avenue will be a shower hostess for the bride-elect, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James E. Koons of 4208 McConnell avenue.
The future bridegroom, a native of Grovesnordal, Conn., is stationed at William Beaumont Army Hospital.

Bessette
Georgia Lee Koons Bessette, a native of El Paso, died February 2nd, in her home. She graduated from Austin High School Class of ?48 and attended Texas Western. She is survived by a brother, James E. Koons, Jr. Daughters Janet Hazel, Linda Quattlebaum and Tracy Luna, sons, Richard ?Buzz? Bessette and Bob Bessette, 10 Grandchildren and 2 Great-Grandchildren. Services will be held Saturday February 9th, 1 PM at Kaster-Maxon & Futrell on Alps.
