  Notes	The Daily Banner Friday, August 17, 1917 McKnett, Joseph Ennalls died at his home at Middletown last night about 9:30 after an illness of several weeks. Born June 6, 1839 the son of the late Thomas and Josephine Ennalls McKnett. Early childhood spent at East New Market. Wife was the former Miss Sallie Vincent, daughter of the late Colonel and Mrs. John Vincent. She died eleven years ago. He is survived by eight children: John V., Thomas T., Charles and Joseph McKnett, Jr. of Middletown; Robert A. McKnett of Philadelphia, Mrs. John W. Bassett, Jr. of Salem, Miss Josephine E. McKnett of Middletown and Mrs. Margaret Shryock of Stephens City, Virginia. Funeral will be held tomorrow at Friendship Church with interment in East New Market Cemetery.
