  Notes	The Frederick Post, Frederick, MD., Tuesday, February 6, 1996 Mr. Francis Bassett Sr. Mr. Francis James Bassett Sr., 65, of Rockville, died Friday, Feb. 2, at Shady Grove Adventist Hospital, Rockville. He was the husband of Sarah M. Bassett. Born Oct. 5, 1930, in North Dakota, he was a son of the late Francis James and Opal Knight Bassett. He had served in the military from 1950 to 1958. He had worked as an air traffic controller for the U.S. government. Surviving in addition to his wife are four children, Rosemary Bassett Stull of Virginia, Francis James Bassett Jr. of Pennsylvania, Alfred W. Bassett of Monrovia and Charles K. Bassett of Germantown; a brother, Robert Bassett of California, and six grandchildren. Memorial services will begin at 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 22, at the Fort Myer Old Post Chapel in Arlington, Va., will full military honors. Internment will be in the Columbarium at Arlington. Memorial donations be made to Universal Peace Church, 678 Azalea Drive, Rockville, Md. 20850. Arrangements are by the Barber Funeral Home, Laytonsville.
